This is the day I wish I had been born on because then I would have only had to celebrate my birthday once every four years. I'm not a fan of my birthday so it would have been good for me. Besides, I would be able to tell people that I was 4 or 5. As a matter of fact, I would have been celebrating my '5th' {20-yrs-old} birthday today if I had been born on leap day back in 1988.

Anywho ma and I went shopping today. I spent a little over $100, but I bought quite a bit. Thank you Wal-Mart Supercenter. I did spend more than I had to, but snack stuff is necessary.

There's a Slot Tournament every Sunday in March at the Texas Station Casino & Hotel. My mom and I got free entries for each day. I think we might actually go. At least this Sunday since I'm off. I don't know about the rest of the month. I'm not terribly good at poker, but hey, it's free and who knows what could happen out of chance.

I don't have a whole lot to talk about today. Nothing special happened. I guess that's it for this leap day. Maybe there will be something more exciting happening on the next leap day in 2012.

I know! I know! I want my bday on the leap day too. Since people dont know how to celebrate it, they just ignore the plans altogether!!

Nowadays it seems nice to only have to ponder about your birthday once every four years, but back when we were kids that would have been totally unacceptable.

The numbers 2012 scare me...I still remember writing 1999 on my papers, and thinking that 2000 was something out of a science fiction movie.

Well
There was a huge game today against our rivals, Decatur, and ironically they were the ones who stood between us and making it to finals.

I was sooo looking forward to the game, but I got back from gymnastics late due to traffic and I was dead tired. So I ended up not going and I was pretty disappointed about that...but then we won anyways, and even though I regret missing it, I have a feeling tomorrow is going to be even better :)

I still find it incredibly funny that my teacher said "tomorrow is leap year!" :P I guess leap day is better, but it still sounds funny.

I was thinking about adding that to my entry about adding more stress because I have to miss a weeks worth of work since i work with small children that prolly havne't had chicken pox yet haha annd on top of that i miss school. Oh well it'll give me somet ime to relax
