It seemed all the idiots were out today. Their ages ranged from elementary school children to old men.

When I left to take ma to work, there were kids playing in the street. They see the car coming so what do they do? Walk farther out into the street. Seriously?

After I dropped ma off, I was driving through the parking lot at a very slow 8 miles an hour and just as I'm driving past a serious of parked cars, someone starts to pull out. I have to stop immediately so he doesn't hit me. I sit there and wait for him to pull out. Then he almost hits another car as he's leaving the parking lot.

On my way to pick Steve up, there were cars just scattered about, blocking intersections, running red lights. It was ridiculous. I'm lucky that nothing happened to me.

It's been windy today. I hate the wind. I really wish it would rain ... I can't remember the last time it rained. How sad.

Today the high is supposed to be 70. It's 68 right now. By Saturday, the high is supposed to be 91. I'm hoping to go over to Jake's that day so that we can go swimming.

With mom working, I've been able to take Lotus out more often again. She likes curling up under my blanket. That's the first place she goes when I stop holding her up off my lap.

The plan for tomorrow is to have Jake pick me up around 9ish and we'll be heading over to his house. I don't know how long I'll be staying. He has to work at 4 ... I kinda want to stay with him. But I have to work at 6am on Friday. I guess as long as I'm in bed around midnight - 1am, I should be fine. We'll just have to wait and see how things go.

Okay, I'm finished for the day. It's hot in this house again. I have no idea why ma turned the heat on last night. I'm about to go turn it off right now, though.

They should send that crossing guard who takes her job so seriously that I hate so much over there to deal with those kids. :P
